I worked a Samsung store and at least once every day I had to delete this 💩 from elder people's device. The hardest part was to explain that is only making the cellphone slower and actually opening the device for virus.

I run an IT company too and used the exact model for a decade too! I did the SSD upgrade and the 16 gig upgrade. I finally just got the MB pro m3 with 1tb nvme and 18 gigs of ram. It feels like the same laptop as the 2012....just can't be upgraded.

Dram error is because the storage caches 10kb or more when trying to boot, and if it fails it bricks the ram

Oh my God. I just literally did this repair last week on a Lenovo Yoga 7! I spent the whole time bitching about them using whatever the fuck adhesive (one tiny line of it at that) to stick down a metal plate! Omg I was so pissed. Of course, I went down the same path as you did, searched online for parts, only to find that the suggested replacement was THE ENTIRE LCD PANEL for like $650 and it was in China. My phone must definitely have heard me cursing about this for me to just happen upon this video. In the end, I settled on using a similar epoxy to JB weld and closing the machine back up, telling the customer to "be gentle" with the lid. Omg I'm pissed again typing this comment!
